パイナップル科(Bromeliaceae)は、イネ目(Poales)に属しており(Bouchenak-Khelladi　et al.,2014)、主として新熱帯区起源で乾燥適応している種を多く含んでいます。アナナス属(Ananas)、チランジア属(Tillandsia)など、観賞用に販売されることも多いグループですが、写真はあまりありませんでした。ヨウラクツツアナナス(Billbergia nutans)は路地で栽培されていたものです。
