アワブキ科(Sabiaceae)は、どのグループが近縁なのか諸説のあるグループでしたが、PAG-IV(2016)ではヤマモガシ目(Proteales)に配置されました。Zúñiga(2015)によって科内での属所属の整理も進んだようですが、写真はアワブキ(こども植物園)1枚のみでした。
